Become a Real Adventurer this Winter

BYOJ Group Rides

  • BYOJ stands for Bring Your Own Jetski! Finally, people who have joined our club or who bought their own Jetski can get a taste of our epic adventure tours on their very own Jetskis.

You take care of the Jetski, we take care of the adventure 🏝️

  • These trips are designed for fun, not for profit. Group rides give our crew a chance to explore without the pressure of having 4-6 people behind them without a license. This lets us relax, enjoy what we do, and focus on the adventure.

Please be aware this means we are not here to run training demos or answer 21 questions. This is not an official tour, its just for fun.

  • Lucky for you, we run a Jetski Company! Check out our Jetski Club or ask our team if you can hire one of our many Jetskis for the day.

  • Your ski, your rules, and your problems. We are strictly here to enjoy our beautiful waterways and have a good time. If you would like insurance and coverage against accidents or injury, consider one of our all-inclusive adventure tours for the general public. Trident Jetskis holds no cover or responsibility on Group Rides.

Welcome to Trident Jetskis BYOJ Group Rides!

These rides are not for profit and are all about exploring new places, making friends, and building an awesome community of Jetski riders here in QLD.

Pro Tips:

  1. Make sure you bring the right gear ⚙️

  2. If you don’t know something, ask for help. We are nice people, dont be shy 😁

  3. Dont drive too close to other riders. Minimum space between vessels is 30m 📏

  4. Respect marine life and keep a safe distance. 100-300m for most marine mammals 🐬

  5. Take care of your Jetski and watch your fuel gauge. No one wants to tow you home ⛽️

Places we will explore this season 📍

  • Moreton Island boasts abundant wildlife and offers an ultimate Jetski paradise. However, riders should exercise caution; its crystal-clear waters and renowned beaches are protected by Moreton Bay, which is notorious for creating swells and presenting genuinely hazardous conditions. On a lovely day, nothing compares, but on a rough day, you might struggle.

Ideal riding conditions occur with a southwesterly wind under 25 km/h. While tides on the northern end of the island are less significant, accessing the southern half requires a minimum tide of 1 meter. Check Willyweather for the tide times at Big Sandhills and Gutter Bar.

  • Peel Island is a boaties dream! Famous for the beautiful Horseshoe Bay located on the south side of the island. This spot is popular for the locals and is only 15 minutes away on a Jetski from the Cleveland Boat Ramp.

Beware of the coral that runs along the north of the islands shores and the large rock formation on the south western tip. Go around channel markers to stay safe on approach.

  • This island is filled with amazing spots, from Dunwich to Amity Point there are heaps of restaurants and beautiful places to visit on the Jetskis. Amity point is best at hightide as you can access the mangroves and hidden creeks nearby. The water is crystal clear and full of wildlife. Please do not park your Jetski here for long, theres few places to anchor safely and you cant leave you Jetskis next to the boat ramp for long.

Dunwich is popular for its brewery and has a large beach for parking Jetskis. Achors are needed here and when the tide runs out, your ski can be left high and dry.

  • South and North Stradbrokes used to be connected as one big island before a ship full of explosives blew them apart!

Now South Stradbroke is Gold Coasts most popular island hosting Tipplers Cafe and many great spots to beach the skis and relax.

  • The Coral Sea off the Gold Coast is where we run most of our offshore activities. See plenty of whales from June to September and enjoy some of the many events that are hosted on the open waters such as the Offshore Racing Boats and the annual Pacific AirShow.
